You & Me, Gluten Free was created so that an average Jill could share her love of food with the world – specifically, with those who cannot digest gluten. I don’t love cooking – in fact, I’m somewhat lazy. But I do love eating. And with my food allergies/intolerances (mostly gluten and lactose) combined with my somewhat childish picky nature, I find myself altering recipes in cookbooks to suit my needs, and once in awhile I come up with something fantastic I just feel the need to share!
I know there’s a lot of gluten free cooking sites out there; everyone and her dog wants to have the next best recipe sharing site. Do we need so many random recipe blogs? Probably not. But if I find just one person out there and can make their day by showing them how to easily create one of their favorite dishes, gluten free, well, then… I’m happy.
Please comment on the recipes you like, ways you’ve improved them, or items you’d like to see. If there’s a dish you just gotta have, let me know, and I’ll see if I can find a way to de-glutenify it!
